Just as our human bodies have evolved from Earth’s living system, so too have our stories, myths, and metaphors. These elements of our humanity motivate our behavior, discoveries, technologies, and actions, and thus make us a dominant part of the living system.  The natural world is more than a collection of virtually infinite resources available for human exploitation.  We must re-envision Earth-bound nature as an intertwined, finite whole from which we evolved, and in which we remain fully embedded. Join Walking Mountains Science Center with special guest Martin Ogle on Thursday, November 16 at 6:30 pm, as we explore the interconnectedness of our living and nonliving systems during this two-hour presentation on A Living Earth.

The Science Behind... series is intended for an adult audience.

There is a suggested $5 donation per person upon arrival at the program.

Please be considerate of those on the waitlist and inform us of any cancellations so that as many people as possible can participate!
