For students entering the 5th/6th grade in the fall of 2019.

Awaken your senses as you foster a deep connection with nature. With The Lorax as your guide, immerse yourself in the beauty and wonder of nature as you play games, rediscover your senses, and explore mountain tops! Enjoy the breathtaking view from a backcountry hut as you find your place in this incredible ecosystem.

Program Dates: Monday-Thursday, July 15-18, 2019.

Cancellation Policy

In the event you must cancel your registration for Science Summer Camp, please contact Youth Programs Director, Chris Cohen at summercamp@walkingmountains.org or 970-827-9725 ext. 117.

You will receive a refund as defined below:

  • Refund will be issued in the same manner payment was made.
  • 100% of tuition paid, less a $25 cancellation fee will be refunded if notice is received prior to May 29th.
  • 70% of tuition paid will be refunded if notice is received on or after May 29th.
  • Cancellations received within 14 days of session start date forfeit full tuition.
  • Cancellation requests due to illness or accident prior to the camp session start date require a physician's written verification. Upon receipt of verification, we will issue a full refund less a $25 cancellation fee. We will also consider family emergencies for a full refund less a $25 cancellation fee.
  • Refunds will not be issued for missed days within a session.
  • Campers sent home for disciplinary reasons will not receive a refund.
